My Gear

Usually, my clients asking me what kind of gear and software I use. We’re living in the time when everyone has a decent camera in the pocket, the action cameras have become so popular these days and a lot of new simple video-making apps we use for social media purposes. It’s normal that people are simply curious about what kind of equipment will be used on their occasion. For various reasons customers would like to know what they rely on, how much the gear is “professional”, which aspects it can cover and which quality it can provide. So I’ve decided to make this section just to explain in brief which tools I use, so I can dispel all your doubts.

Hybrid equipment

As a Photographer and Videomaker, I demand very wide applications, hybrid equipment. Providing Air-Drone footage, 3-axis stabilization gimbal, Double FF Cameras. Besides Tripods, Led lights, HSS Speedlights and Microphones.

Sony Alpha7 Series cameras. To provide the best quality images, especially in low light situations. As a wedding photographer, I need the best focusing system, which Sony can provide with its eye/face autofocus technology. For video making, Alpha7 cameras can provide 4k footage and 120p full HD as well. And on top of that, I really like the color science.

For Videography footage, I use the 3-axis stabilization gimbal DJI Ronin S to obtain the smoothest and cinematic movement camera I can. While B camera is usually placed on a tripod or handheld.

I like to deliver the most complete image of the ceremony as possible providing also aerial footage. In that case, I’m using DJI Mavic Air Drone. This small, silent and agile drone can provide 4k flat profile video to match as much as possible with my main footage.

I work only with the bright prime lenses, for certain reasons like low light performance, smoothness and that bokeh effect. There are two brands that I rely on it’s Sony and Sigma Art line which gives superior quality and sharp images. In my storage, I have a 35mm f1.4, 85mm f1.8, 20mm f2.8 and absolute “bokeh master” – 105mm f1.4.
