Photoreportage of the Wedding in San Galgano and Laticastelli
Photoreportage of the Wedding in San Galgano – Tuscany.
Reception at the Laticastelli.
Photoreportage of the Wedding in San Galgano by A&S. Finally, the day had come when dear A and S were able to realize their greatest dream – getting married at the Abbey of San Galgano in Chiusdino. We all know how the world has changed in recent years, the difficulties and uncertainties in the tourism and wedding sectors have not helped couples to make a concrete decision, some had to postpone their date, even twice …
And here we are, with a fairytale wedding in one of the most desired places in Tuscany! I received clear instructions from the bride that morning – “I don’t want to think about anything!” The way I do my reports, these words were gold, I really believe in this approach. The spouses for their preparation phase and subsequent reception have chosen Laticastelli Country Relais in Rapolano Terme in the province of Siena. Despite the large distance between the Abbey and the location, I think it was an excellent match, from a photographic point of view.
I love the photos of the ceremony, in every moment I found the couple smiling, cuddling and exchanging glances full of happiness. I couldn’t help but notice how happy they were. It’s nice to see that after all the stress of organizing a wedding from a distance and in this period there is so much joy and carefree. After the ceremony inside the San Galgano we went behind the Abbey to take advantage of the afternoon sun rays – what I love to do! We had a long way to go back to Laticastelli, but we improvised and stopped for just fifteen minutes to show all the hilly spectacle of Tuscany at sunset.
The first phase of the reception was hosted by the pool, while the dinner on the other side of the structure in a garden surrounded by trees. To cut the wedding cake, we moved to the driveway of the Country Relais, with an artfully decorated table in the middle. San Galgano is always my favorite place for a wedding reportage! Many thanks to the newlyweds.
