Wedding at Il Drago e La Fornace

Ceremony AT THE Church of Saint Maria Assunta

I am a Tuscany wedding photographer, every wedding I photograph is a unique and unforgettable experience. This time, I had the pleasure of capturing the special moments of a lovely couple’s religious wedding in Casole d’Elsa, Tuscany.

I got up bright and early and made my way to the Church of Saint Maria Assunta, which is a stunning building. Because of its gorgeous architecture and the breathtaking frescoes that adorned the walls, it was the ideal location for the religious ceremony that the couple was having.

The bride was already getting ready when I arrived, and she was surrounded by her bridesmaids as well as members of her immediate family. I could sense that she was both a little anxious and quite thrilled about the upcoming event. As soon as she put on that breathtaking gown and that veil, she was transformed into a princess. Her bridal party looked just as gorgeous as she did, wearing dresses and outfits that matched one other.

Soon after, the groom showed there looking dapper in his suit and tie when he made his entrance. It was obvious that he was overjoyed to begin his life with his cherished bride, as he beamed with happiness as he greeted his family and friends.

The pair exchanged their vows and wedding rings in front of all of their family, friends and God during the ceremony, which was both beautiful and heartbreaking. It was heartwarming to witness how much they cared for one another and how significant this day was to both of them.

Following the conclusion of the ceremony, we went outside to take some photographs. Casole d’Elsa is a picturesque medieval village located in the middle of Tuscany. It is known for its colorful buildings, cobblestone streets, and breathtaking views of the surrounding hills. I was able to get some photographs that are simply gorgeous, thanks to the fact that the couple’s romantic photography was set against the ideal backdrop.

I was completely taken aback by the elegance of the reception location, which was called Il Drago e la Fornace, as we made our way there. The venue is a magnificent farmhouse that has been converted into a charming wedding location. It features a huge dining area as well as an outdoor courtyard. The happy couple had decided to have their reception outside, and I could understand why they made that decision. The backdrop was nothing short of enchanted, with lights that twinkled, candles, and flowers that bloomed to create a sensual ambiance beneath the stars.

Traditional delicacies from Tuscany, such as bruschetta, pasta, and grilled meats, were featured in the restaurant’s delectable menu. The visitors were having a wonderful time, as seen by their laughter and animated conversation as they took in the breathtaking scenery while enjoying their supper.

After the announcement that it was time for the first dance, the couple took their places on the dance floor, and it was clear to me how much they were savoring this intimate occasion together. A romantic song played in the background as their loved ones, and friends cheered them on as they danced.

The party continued into the night with additional dancing and celebrations throughout the night. The pair appeared to be having a wonderful time as they were surrounded by their friends and family and making the most of their big day.
As a Tuscany wedding photographer, I feel incredibly fortunate to be able to capture such beautiful and meaningful moments for my couples. Tuscany is such a magical place, with its stunning landscapes, charming towns, and romantic venues. Whether it’s a religious or civil ceremony, or an indoor or outdoor reception, every wedding in Tuscany is unique and unforgettable.
