Wedding at the
Podere Marcampo, Volterra
As a Tuscany wedding photographer, I’ve had the honor of photographing some of the most breathtaking weddings that this part of the world has to offer. The wedding that took place in Volterra on warm days of August, was not an exception to this rule. A religious ceremony took place at the Church of Saint Giusto and Clemente, in Volterra, which was also the location of the wedding.
Both the bride and groom looked absolutely lovely, and it was easy to feel the love that they had for one another. During the exchange of their vows, they both appeared to be filled with excitement and affection for one another, and it was a true pleasure to capture such a touching scene on camera.
Following the ceremony, we made our way to the Agriturismo Podere Marcampo, which was acting as the venue for the reception. The structure that now serves as the location was first constructed in the early 18th century and was situated in the unspoiled natural setting of the Tuscan hills. I couldn’t help but capture some pictures of the couple against the lovely backdrop of the lush environment, and I couldn’t resist doing so because of how beautiful it was.
The welcome we received at Agriturismo Podere Marcampo was nothing short of magical. The air was thick with feelings of love and happiness, and the happy couple looked absolutely dazzling in the setting. The evening was made even more magical by the delectable food and wine, which were served against the breathtaking backdrop of the Tuscan countryside. The venue was ideal, with the stunning landscape serving as a backdrop.
The reception was held outside, and the location was absolutely perfect for an event of this magnitude and significance. It was clear that the couple had put a lot of time and care into decorating their home since it looked amazing. The use of rustic elements and lovely particulars contributed to the creation of a cozy and inviting ambiance.
Under the night sky, the happy couple and their friends continued to dance as the evening wore on. It was a genuinely enchanted experience to witness the newlyweds enjoy their first dance as men and women in front of such a gorgeous setting as the venue provided. During the couple’s first dance, which was a beautiful occasion, they danced to a romantic tune while holding each other tight and dancing.
It was a night that will live long in my memory, and I am thankful that I was able to take part in such a memorable event. Taking images is only a small part of what it takes to be a wedding photographer in Tuscany; the real challenge is capturing the love and happiness of a couple on one of the happiest and most significant days of their lives.
In general, the wedding in Volterra was a lovely day that was punctuated with feelings of love, joy, and laughter. As a wedding photographer in Tuscany, I count myself extremely fortunate to have been able to document this special day.
