Wedding Photographs at Abbadia Isola near Siena
Wedding Photographs at the Abbey of Saints Salvatore and Cirino.
Reception at the Castle Il Palagio.
Religious Wedding photographs at the Abbey of Saints Salvatore and Cirino, located in the center of the fortified complex of Abbadia a Isola. It was in this abbey church that they decided to say the most important “YES” of their I&A life. There will never be a wedding reportage like any other, every photographic story of a wedding has its own particular characteristic – the characteristic of this wedding, or rather of the Spouses is “Elegance”, but always in the typical Tuscan style environment.
In fact at this point it is a style apart, unmistakable, a little country, a little rustic, but the spouses themselves give it a final description, in this case a touch of class and elegance! I was struck by how every detail was taken care of and how to say it, personal, how he outsourced the characters of the couple in perfect harmony, such as the choice of clothes, the flowers, the location for receptions. After meeting the couple, before the wedding day, I already knew that it will be a spectacular photo story!
The religious ceremony was very involving and very moving. The church is technically one of the most difficult to photograph, but it’s worth it, the stairs play a big role and like in this case how they were decorated! For the post-ceremony couple photographs we decided to dedicate a limited time, but I really think we managed to create some beautiful shots. We stopped just one kilometer before arriving at the Castle, just for thirty minutes.
After our arrival at Castello Il Palagio, I dedicated myself only to candid photos of the guests while they were enjoying their aperitif before dinner. For the reception dinner we moved inside the Castle, to one of the most beautiful courtyards I have seen this year. So I found out how good the spouses are at Tango dancing! The combination of the perfect lighting and (note!) The band meant that you rarely saw a person sitting, everyone danced and had fun all evening! At the end, cutting of the wedding cake and bam – the fireworks! A beautiful ending to an equally beautiful wedding!
